THE FIRST OF ANIKYA

THE FIRST OF ANIKYA

Anikya opened up a new area of use to traditional Iznik tiles by elevating the art from the historical function as traditional wall decoration and pots. By incorporating silver, copper, leather and wood to the designs, the tiling art now has a functional use.

For the first time, Anikya Iznik Tiles practiced 14.century glazing and mosaic techniques. After passing all the quality and endurance tests with success, the tiles Anikya has developed were used for the restoration of the Green Mosque in Bursa.

As a result of research and development, Anikya Iznik Tile opened up a completely new area of use to the conventional art. In today's architecture, Iznik tiles can be applied to floors with consistent colors and patterns.

Anikya Iznik Tiles constructed a bridge between private brands and the tiling art by innovating brand-specific designs, which allowed the traditional Turkish art to become worldwide.
